Professor Viktor Putrenko Participated in the UNESCO Workshop on Ethical Impact Assessment of AI in Education and Science

On June 18, 2026, Professor Viktor Putrenko participated in the UNESCO Ukraine office workshop on ethical impact assessment of artificial intelligence systems in education and science.

The workshop focused on responsible and ethical AI implementation, UNESCO’s assessment methodology, and the readiness of Ukraine’s ecosystem for trustworthy AI adoption. The event brought together representatives of government, academia, civil society, international organizations, and the private sector.

The meeting also introduced the current state of AI implementation in Ukraine and the project methodology for key national stakeholders. The research results are planned to be presented in April next year.
